I shared this story last week on my Facebook page and wanted to share it here for all my readers, as well.

Sometimes the unexpected moments are the best ones! This engagement session was unplanned, unscripted and ended up being one of the best ever! <3 Talk about being at the right place at the right time! The couple’s original hired photographer didn’t show up to their scheduled engagement shoot! They were dressed and ready- waiting for their photographer to arrive and it ended being a no show! It wasn’t fair! Life is not fair! I couldn’t walk away seeing her in tears! But, God puts us in the right place at the right time to do the right thing! I happened to be at this venue (The Ancient Spanish Monastery) working another session. I couldn’t let them go home without getting in front of a camera, even if it was my own! ! I didn’t know them. Didn’t know their names or what style they liked. I didn’t have a chance to study any poses or scout specific areas that would match their wardrobe! I literally, just went for it! I’ve always said when in doubt, shoot with your heart! I felt this couple was edgy, elegant and in love! I hope I did their pictures justice… Everyone deserves a chance to show off their love!!
