this was an eclectic kind of session. we basically threw everything into the mix, but the kitchen sink! first, we have mini- rambo in his camo gear for his birthday pics! then, we have his beautiful sister posing as a cabbage patch doll….and if that wasn’t enough, i decide to stick her in a bowl with cheerios and milk. she’s just too yummy! but, wait that’s not all! mom likes pictures of her in the bathroom, so we got to take some in an old fashion bowl (which she hardly fits in) and just has the best personality about it! my kind of girl, humor for sure and willing to try anything once! loved every minute of it! it was so much fun, although i think she may dislike me sticking a piece of cabbage on her head! lol

i just love it when the good energy of a family is captured through my lens! from the minute we met till we waived goodbye, the boys were so great and easy to work with! check them out. the boys have their mommy’s beautiful hazel/green eyes that are just so captivating. enjoy the sneak peek! …….oh, and happy birthday daddy! our year rocks, remember!!!!! lol

Happy Father’s Day…
adien’s story!
this was a special day! a special one, because i was blessed with the opportunity to photograph a birthday party in memory of a special little boy! i recieved a call to photograph a party! however, this was a different kind of call and a different kind of party. the mom that called me lost her little boy, aiden, at the young age of (2) to a rare brain cancer. this terrible event occured over 2 years ago and her boy would have celebrated his 5th birthday last week! instead of wallowing in grief and this becoming a sad event, she has dedicated her life to raising awareness about pediatric illnesses, such as the one that took aiden! this mom told me since she couldn’t throw a birthday party for her son, she wanted to throw a party for underprivledged kids and honor the memory of her loved boy! my heart melted to know i had just met an angel! what a gorgeous spirit–to be able to have the strength and good energy to pay it forward! i was honored to collaborate to such a wonderful family with such a giving heart!
we went to a transition home with teen moms and their babies. this mom wrapped presents for each mom and each baby. there were games, birthday cake and of course lots of pictures!
aiden would be so proud of what his mom, grandma and friends have done in honor of his short, but fullfilling life!

here are some cuties on the beach. three kiddos under the age of 4 was quite the work-out, but it was worth it –in the end! loved the interaction they all had with one another!
